The role: Quality Assurance Analyst
Xchange Software engineers are expert coders with a strong understanding of algorithms and data structures. This includes code-level troubleshooting of service anomalies to safeguarding the availability of our most popular services; from monitoring and response to building new automation infrastructure to balancing the desire for change management with the need for stability.
All team members must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, fluency in coding, good communication skills, and most of all enthusiasm for tackling the complex problems of scale which are uniquely Xchange Software. We tackle challenging, novel situations every day, and work with just about every other engineering and operations team at Xchange Software in the process.
Review, evaluate and test client/server and web applications. Gather and evaluate user requirements and procedures. Automate test cases and test plans for functional and regression testing of applications. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation. Work with SQL Server, DB2, XML, Load Runner and Java. No on-the-job training provided. Travel/relocate to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to interact with clients and train end users for long and short term assignments.
Education Requirements and Salary:
- Requires Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or a related field.
